The Pineal Gland
The Pineal Gland is a very small gland within your brain that is known for regulating sleep. It produces Melatonin which makes you sleepy.
It is also believed that the Pineal Gland is the key to seeing other realms of existence. Dubbed ‘The Third Eye’, it is said that if you can awaken this feature, you can possibly see spirits and other amazing things. I once was able to see with my eyes shut (that’s another story, see it in the Astral Projection subsection in the top menu), so maybe I was seeing out of my third eye? I’m not sure.
Opening the third eye, though, isn’t for everyone. Sure it sounds cool, being able to see spirits, but what about when you’re in bed trying to go to sleep and there’s a number of ghosts standing in your bedroom? That’ll keep you up all night! I’m reminded of the movie ‘Ghost’. Whoopy Goldbergs character is kept up all night by Patrick Swayze constantly singing to her. Of course there’s humor in that but in reality, I don’t think it would be funny at all!
For most of us though, the Pineal Gland is believed to be ‘calcified’ due to long time exposure to fluoride and a lifetime of consuming generally unhealthy food and drink.
If you still want to proceed with opening the ‘Third Eye’ then there are a number of things you can do…
Listen to music designed to stimulate the Pineal Gland. This music is made with sounds that get straight into your brain. Using carefully chosen instruments and frequencies, this music is light an easy to listen to, but at the same time, you can definitely ‘feel’ the sounds in your mind. You’ll want to use headphones for this type of music though, as there is a different frequency sent to each ear that must be listened to separately for best results.
