Can the mind heal the body? The short answer – YES, it can! But there is a flip side to this, the mind can also do damage to the body too!
It has long been proven that negative thinking can cause physical health problems. as the old saying goes… healthy mind, healthy body. This slogan is very meaningful. You see, if you’re thinking of negative things, then your body is going to react by becoming problematic. This is the main reason why hypochondriacs are always sick, they have convinced their minds that they are unwell, and so eventually their bodies become exactly that!
It’s all part of the law of attaction. If you keep thinking you’re going to contract a virus or disease, then you probably will. The reason for this is because if you manage to convince your subsonsious of something, then it will eventually make it a reality. So make sure you think healthy thoughts. My saying is ‘Think healthy, live healthy, be healthy, stay healthy’!
Of course, not only should you think healthy thoughts, but you should also eat healthy foods. This will give your body a natural health boost and make it stronger and more able to get better. All your body ever needs is friut, veg, and water – plenty of water! The human body thrives off of these things. It’s like your plants at home, when they’re looking a bit dry and shrivelled up, what do you do? You give it plenty of water. Water is the fuel of life. It’s the second most inportant thing you can ever give to your body, beaten to the top spot only by Oxygen!
So, how do you use your mind to heal yourself?, I hear you ask. Meditation is the main thing. I bet you weren’t surprised to hear that though were you?! But seriously, meditation is so important and it’s boggles me why so many people don’t practice it or even know where to start. If the whole world meditated often, then the Earth would be a better place to live both environmentally and societally. Wouldn’t that be nice?
